One way to reduce overall stock wastage is to batch together jobs that need to be cut from the same material.

JWSHAPE allows users to select jobs together into Batch lists ready for stock layouts.

JWSHAPE allows users to either manually place shapes onto available stock or let the system automatically lay shapes onto available stock. After automatic optimistation the user can manually adjust the layout if required.

If the user wishes to manually place the shapes onto stock then there are several shortcut functions available that speed up the placing of shapes.

Once the batch layout is ready it is sent for cutting by selecting the required CNC machine interface. The system then generates the cutting instructions, layout reports, stock usage report and panel labels.
